WELCOME TO THE PRODUCTION END OF MANX CAT!Shawn Cannon teaches private voice lessons in her studio in Littleton, MA and is always open for new students. She just had a recital with twelve students performing and they did a great job! She has been teaching voice for over 15 years, after studying classical voice in high school in El Paso, TX, and at Alvin College in Houston, TX. She has also spent over 20 years appearing in musicals, doing musical directing, and working on the perfect method for having that "mix" stage voice. Shawn has also sang in rock original, GB, and show bands for over 15 years. She is currently in the band, "Blondes Have More Fun", where she sings front and backup for Rick Larrimore, the Ultimate Rod Stewart Tribute.
Shawn teaches the basics of voice; breathing, placement and power and works with your personal singing style to do the type of singing that you would like to do!

Shawn is also a professional free-lance director, musical director and choreographer. She has directed plays and musicals all over the country---from Denver to Houston to Chicago to Los Angeles to the Boston area. NEW MUSICAL THEATRE SUMMER CLASSES FOR 2008!
During the summer months in Littleton, Shawn provides Musical Theatre Camps!
Her Musical Theatre Camps are held in July and August. They run for four days, four hours a day, and the students experience acting exercises, vocal exercises, dance, costuming and hair and makeup instruction. At the end of the week, the class performs for their family and friends as they put on a finished show!
Each week is a different show and is written by Shawn with music incorporated from well-known musicals, and movies spanning all eras. The class is frenetic and fast-paced, but lots of fun, fun, fun!
The schedule for this summer is as follows:
SESSION ONE: Monday, July 14-Thurs., July 17
SESSION TWO: Monday, July 21-Thurs., July 24
SESSION THREE: Monday, Aug. 11-Thurs., Aug. 14
SESSION FOUR: Monday, Aug. 25-Thurs., Aug.28
Each class is $180.00, with a $10.00 supply fee for folders, CD's, and use of hair and makeup supplies. YOU CAN GET AN EARLY SIGN UP DISCOUNT, AS I WILL TAKE 10% OFF!----if you sign up before the end of June, or if your child takes more than one class or you enroll more than one child! Shawn is excited about the location this year, and will be having it at 410 Great Rd., in The Mill Building, in Littleton.
